Up until recently, Go Freek were a duo in their seventh year of touring and making music together, dominating the dance floors of Australia, the USA and beyond. Unfortunately they've recently decided to part ways for their live shows with Russ deciding to focus on production.

We caught up with the now one face of Go Freek, Caleb to get the low-down on his favourite Australian artists, post-show foods, the new single and more.

Where are you from?

I’m from a place called Wollongong just over an hour south of Sydney (but have lived in Sydney for 9 years now).

Hometown vibes in Wollongong!

Favourite post-show meal?

I can always murder a pizza after a night of good times.

What's on your rider?

Gin & Tonic with Cucumber, Stone and Wood beers, red wine, nibblies and sparkling water.

Your favourite coffee shop in Australia?

It’s Fitzrovia Restaurant and Cafe in St Kilda, Melbourne. Best macadamia late and best dish is the Crumbled portobello mushroom.

Favourite Club in Australia?

Prohibition in Brisbane is awesome, function one sound system and epic lighting, also the punters love their house.

Beach club or sweaty rave?

If it was a last day on earth type thing: sweaty rave.

Name 5 Aussie artists on rotation for you at the moment...

And your most memorable festival and why?

EDC Las Vegas, that festival is out of this world.

We opened a main stage and hearing the crowd of people make their way to the stage was like nothing else, it was like a war scene from lord of the rings but with ravers and party animals so much fun!

You can still stream their main stage set here!

Thanks Caleb.
